ÁNLEIFR ...An old Norse name meaning "heir of the ancestors".
I created this family history and research website as a sharing and collaboration portal for the many families in my family tree. Most of these family lines started in Europe (mainly the British Isles and Germany) and migrated to Colonial America in the 17th and 18th centuries. Then from the Eastern Coastline states, our families migrated to places like Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and beyond. Almost every branch, of every family, in this tree came from Europe to the East coast then migrated West to the Midwest of America. These first families were colonists, then their descendants were pioneers whose children grew up to become homesteaders, and these people, our ancestors, helped build and shape America.
